Start Blogging
Want to start blogging but don’t know how? First, you need to think about hosting – you blog has to have a home somewhere on the internet. There are several good free resources for hosting a blog. Try out one of these free services:

www.blogger.com
Until recently, I have used Blogger for our personal family blog. I like that I can use the same Google login for Blogger that I use for other Google apps. It is a very easy, user friendly way to start a blog. The intermediate user can make some modifications to the template without having to be a pro with html. This is a great way to get started.
Of course, if you want more features and options, there are other fee based services out there too. I’m now using wordpress hosted at GoDaddy for our family blog and this personal/professional blog so I can have more control over the template and some other advanced features.
We have limited funds for website and blog hosting at Southbrook. If a staff member is interested in starting a blog, I recommend trying one of these free options.
